Shontelle Layne is a Bajan, Soca singer/songwriter from St.Peter,Barbados. She is popular in the Caribbean for her 2005 Bajan hit “Colours” in which she collaborated with another Bajan artist, Natahlee. She also wrote Alison Hinds’ 2005/2006 hit “Roll”.She also featured alongside Rihanna on J-Status’s remix of “Roll”,Shontelle worked with Rihanna on a track from Save the last dance 2 called “The Hotness”.
