Stella Stagecoach is tagged as: indie, piano, 00s, thesixtyone, georgia |Stella StageCoach was formed by two brothers influenced by their travels abroad. This band is comprised of Matthew and Tim Morgan from Hogansville, Georgia; a typical small factory town in the rural south. Originally, the music consisted of purely instrumental pieces to be used for the various filmmaking projects the two undertake. Eventually, lyrics began to creep into the music, and some songs were written. After traveling out to Springfield, Missouri for three weeks to record with the producer/songwriter Jeremy Larson (also here on thesixtyone.com), the duo had their first album, “The Great Divide.” Aided by producer Jeremy Larson’s unifying touch, this album journeys through a series of styles that sound like they surfaced from bygone eras while maintaining a modern accessibility and charm.
