In 1984 Stephen formed Heyday (from Edinburgh), a band in Edinburgh with Ronnie Torrance (drums), Bill Ayton (keyboards), Davie Waddell (Bass) and Robert Russell (guitar). The band broke up in 1985 and Stephen embarked on solo musical projects and has, since 2007, been releasing material on his own label called Close Up Records UK. The latest release (early 2012) is a ten track album called ‘Today Tomorrow’. He is interested in strong melodies and lyrics that alternate between the personal and the universal, communicated with clarity. Stephen Harrison is on facebook ...
