Steve Appleton was born and raised in Surrey and from the age of fifteen was playing piano in a swanky Soho eatery performing his own material and covers from the likes of Elton John to Billy Joel. He signed to RCA Label Group in the Summer of 2007 after which he disappeared inter-railing for a month before knuckling down to finish his debut album whilst his friends went off to University.
