Wray is tagged as: house, vocal house, funky house Stretch and Ben met in 2001 when Stretch was working with Vern as the infamous Stretch& Vern and Ben was freshly signed to Verns Spot On imprint. In August 2002 the guys decided to make ‘ a ‘ track together and formed the infamous SUCKER DJ’S. It was clear they worked well and by Autumn 2002 they had produced a number of tracks including ‘ It’s Gotta Be ‘ which was duly signed by Seb and Vern to Spot On in January of 2003. By the summer of 2003 the stand out track on the Ep ‘ It’s Gotta Be ‘ was being played by some of the biggest dj’s in Europe, and it wasn’t long before Azuli snapped it up. It was released in February 2004 and went on to become one of azuli’s biggest records for years. But it wasn’t only Azuli who had started to notice the Sucker Dj’s. In the summer of 2003, Kinky Vinyl Records London signed the Funky Houser ‘ Lotta Lovin’ along with ‘ Circles ‘ & ‘ Outdoor Punks ‘.
