Back then I already was a huge fan of Depeche Mode. Let’s call this my first true love. A bit later I got my first drumcomputer and syntheseizer. I was ready to make songs and dreamt of my own complete state of the art studio, but hey, you’ve got to start from scratch, as we all had to do. I found all those knobs really fascinating and soon I made my first tracks. It wasn’t till my 18th birthday that I played in a band called “Mea Culpa”, we were a strange combination of musicians with all our very different influences. One of our major achievement was reaching the semi finals of Humo’s Rock Rally. |That’s how I got discovered by Geert Blanchart (former Belgian Champion Shorttrack). He heared us playing live and afterwards introduced me to a good friend of his, Oliver Adams (Lords Of Acid, Praga Khan, …) He was very interested and gave me the opportunity to work with him in his studio.
