They moved to Los Angeles in ‘76 and became a fixture on the early LA punk scene. 2) The Dogs were an underground phenomenon in Iowa during the 70s, they were a 3 piece band who played loud, raw, pre-punk similar to The Stooges and U.K. bands like Third World War, Hammersmith Gorillas and Crushed Butler.
