During this period they’ve played at some of Sweden’s biggest festivals (Peace&Love, Arvika, Kilafors Rockweekend), in London, Vienna and pretty much every club venue worth visiting in Sweden. Their sound has been said to remind of both new and old bands (The Clash, Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, to name a few) but with an energetic, unique twist both live and in the studio (captured by producer Thomas Rusiak). 2007: Brothers Gabriel and Christian Alares decide to form a new band, inspired by 60’s til’ present British pop and rock bands. They hire guitarist Mikael Hörnaeus and bass player Johannes Lindberg (now in Ida Maria), with the ambition to write really strong songs and break big without having to struggle for years at sub par venues in the underground indie scene of Stockholm. The first four tunes are written and later recorded at a studio in Södermalm, Stockholm. Scottish internet radio station NetSounds quickly hear the songs on Myspace and start playing their demos on a regular basis.
