The Lil' Hospital is tagged as: indie, twee, pop, indie pop, lo-fi bedroom pop R.I.P There once was a boy named Kevin and he needed a lot of attention. He wrote songs of the joyful lo-fi indie slacker idiot pop variety. Locking himself away in a makeshift dungeon (complete with Renaissance decor), he recorded such tunes on dictaphones, cassette 4-track machines, and computerized boxes. He also found inspiration in bands such as Pavement, Bmx Bandits, and Daniel Johnston (for purposes of name-dropping). He made a few cassettes (Me & My Beatbox + Pretty Kissin’ + Meet the Lil Hospital) that some people liked. Then he started making albums (I Wanna Be Well + Heavy Metal) that a few other people liked too. Kevin gets help from his friends (past & present thanks to that crappy time-machine in the garage) for melodic remedy. Recently, Frank and Mat (both of other really fucking awesome bands) have joined the fold. While Kevin is in a donut induced coma writing some new songs in hopes to sound like the 3rd Led Zeppellin album.|... Read More About The Lil' Hospital Biography...
