The band formed in July 2009 after Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left Panic! At the Disco. Ross and Walker are recording with the help of Alex Greenwald from Phantom Planet along with Panic!’s former touring keyboard player, Eric Ronick. Ross is contractually required to release music under the Fueled By Ramen label, but has expressed that he would like to be released from the contract, as he doesn’t feel that the band’s music belongs on the label. The duo released their first single, “Change”, on MySpace on the July 28, 2009, and they have announced that an album is on the way. The second song released from the album is titled ” The Other Girl” and was first played on Mark Ronson’s radio show. In an interview with MTV Ross stated that the album was finished and would be titled ‘Take A Vacation.’ Ross also told MTV that he and bandmember Jon Walker are still looking for a record label because they do not think that Panic!’s label suits their style of music....
