Raised among a large music making family, he began singing and playing at the age of three. By age eight he began playing and writing with his cousin and life-long musical companion, Cole Garlak. Together they spent the better part of their school years learning classic rock cover tunes performing in garages and school cafeterias throughout Oakland county. At age 15, he moved to Orlando, Florida to enjoy four years of working as a Mouseketeer on the Disney Channel’s “All New Mickey Mouse Club.” After high school and the end of the show, he moved to Los Angeles to continue his career as a professional entertainer. He worked in commercials and television, but soon returned to music. In 1997, Lucca took to the internet with his independent debut, So Satisfied. Having sold 2000 copies within a year, he then followed that up with the 1999 release, Strong Words, Softly Spoken. With only the internet and constant touring, Lucca went on to sell a total of 10,000 records in just a few short years.
