Trim (real name Javan St. Prix) is a grime MC from Chrisp Street, E14 (Isle of Dogs). He first began MCing with the Bomb Squad around 2002, shortly after he left jail. He soon made a name for himself for his use of wordplay and his individual flow.
He was a member of the Roll Deep Crew with fellow East London MCs Wiley, Riko, Breeze, Roachee and Scratchy (whom he attended school with). He eventually left Roll Deep after numerous disagreements with Flowdan. Despite this he says he is still tight with Wiley, and presumably still sees Wiley (although Wiley has become increasingly reclusive due to an unhealthy obsession with Dizzee Rascal and convincing the RWD forum that he’s number 1 really). He is noted for making one the most brutal disses in grime, in which he sent for Major Ace, Sniper E and Stormin. |He was arrested for rape in Aiya Napa after an incident involving Marcus Nasty (DJ and general monster for NASTY crew) and his girl. It is debatable whether Stormin or Marcus is the ugliest member of NASTY crew, although it is generally accepted that Stormin is a total joke, whereas Marcus is quite a good DJ.
