החלונות הגבוהים is tagged as: “The High Windows” (Hebrew: החלונות הגבוהים, HaHalonot HaGvohim) was an Israeli band, founded by Arik Einstein, Shmulik Kraus and Josey Katz. The band was active during the sixties, released one album (self-titled) and a few more songs. The original name of the band was “The Windows” as a tribute to “The Doors”, but in the end the name was changed. The band made pop music, which was very light, gentle, short and catchy. A few of their famous songs were Einech Yechola (You Can’t), Kol HaShavua Lach (The Whole Week for You), HaAhavot Sheli (My Loves), Yehezkel (Ezekiel), Chayal Shel Shocolad (Chocolate Soldier), Kama Naim (How Pleasant) and more. The most famous song of the High Windows was Zemer Nuge (Doleful Singing), a song written by the hebrew lyric poet Rachel Bluwstein (1890-1931). After two years of activity, in 1968, the group disbanded. From wikipedia.org/wiki/The_High_Windows... Read More About החלונות הגבוהים Biography... Send החלונות הגבוהים ringtones to your cell |
