Bergendy biography

One of the most important Hungarian bands defining the early era alongside with Illés, Omega and such, formed in the late 50es.|First they played jazz, but in 1964 they crossed over into beat music.|They became the most influential session and support band in the country, helping many talents starting their career.|Bergendy is most famous for the period when Demjén Ferenc was their lead singer in the 70es.|Their sound is quite distinct because of the big band roots and instrumentation.
