Donny Goines was born in the borough of Manhattan but spent most of his youth going back and forth between Philly, the Bronx, and Harlem. Later, devastated by his mentor’s suicide meant that Donny—still recovering from loss, would have to own up to life and fight for his talent all alone. The two striving talents now form a partnership that seemed to always be destined from the start.
