Band History
New Year's Day was established in 2005 after bassist Adam Lohrbach left the band Home Grown Home Grown's final EP 2004's "After all Down" had departed from the band's past style of humorous pop punk and incorporated many emotional elements Lohrbach transferred to New Years Day Meeting with singer Ashley Costello (see previous) and guitarist Keith Drover (ex-Ugly), the three began to repeter songs that Costello and Lorhbach had written these songs were heavily influenced by members' common emotional experiences that Lohrbach Drover, and Costello had all recently been through difficult relationship break NYD first bass player was Eric Seilo a mutual friend of the three even though he had to leave soon after the band was formed as a result of school affairs group soon added guitarist / bassist Mike Schoolden (previously Wakefield) and drummer Russell Dixon (formerly Glen Haven) an...
