Initially discovered by PMD of the legendary Hit Squad crew (EPMD, Redman, Keith Murray, Das EFX) at the age of 18, Session has been slowly developing under the radar into a conceptual monster of mythic proportions, set to storm the scene to the sound of collapsing buildings and the screams of those who slept. In 2000, he joined underground veterans Tonedeff, PackFM & Substantial to form the group, Extended Famm for the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Happy F*ck You Songs (QN5/2002). Since that time, he has been busy working the mixtape circuit, appearing on tracks with everyone from DJ Green Lantern, to Sickamore, to DJ Honda, to Grafh, to Stat Quo or via his own New Money mixtape hosted by DJ Envy & DJ KG. Along the way, he’s been featured in The Source Magazine’s “Off The Radar” column, XXL Magazine’s 24HourMC’s License To Spit, Import Tuner and URB. Never limiting himself to one style or scene, Session makes it a point to defy your expectations of what he’s capable of with each song - from thought-seasoned street stories to introspective love letters to mash-out teeth-loosening bangers - he does it all.
