By the end of March 2005 Hush Sound took his music into the studio to record their debut full-length studio album was the Gallery of Carpet located in Villa Park IL run by owner Brian Zieske They called it "So Sudden" reflect on how quickly it was possible to move the band released their first album with no label support at the time, but still sold 300 boards in two nights

LikeVines was released on June 6, 2006 in support of the new album the band went on a summer tour with label mates Panic at the Disco and fellow cabaret-rock band The Dresden Dolls album has sold steadily since the band took a month-long break before beginning a tour with Jack's Mannequin Copeland and Daphne Loves Derby
In November 2006 The Hush Sound began its first headlining tour backed by Providence This Is Me Smiling and Murder by Death has since toured widely across the United States with Straylight Run Spitalfield Hellogoodbye Boys Like Girls and Pablo including recesses including Wiltern in Los Angeles, The Warfield in San Francisco and SXSW festival in Austin, TX
The band's third album was named "Goodbye Blues" one of the most anticipated album in 2008, according to Optionsernative Press Magazine "Goodbye Blues" was recorded in autumn 2007 in North Hollywood's Fairfax Recordings with producer / engineer Kevin Augunas (Cold War Kids Jon Brion) at the helm of songs like "Honey" and "Medicine Man" The Hush Sound show the influence of Blues Rock Swing and People On 16 January a press release saying that this album was actually released on 18 March and that the first single, Honey would be available for sale on the iTunes Store, February 5
