Like an indie rock band formed in 2001 in Los Angeles, California, USA The band consists of Elizabeth "Z" Berg (vocals guitar) laen Geronimo (bass) Annie Monroe (organ) and Tennessee Thomas (drums) Bassist Charlotte Froom left the band in 2009 and Geronimo was replaced by Reni Lane who went right after Froom left left the band sometime in late 2009 or early 2010 and was replaced by the Monroe Mountain is the daughter of Geffen A & R REP Tony Berg and Thomas is the daughter of Pete Thomas of Elvis Costello's drummer & The Sights
The name of the band comes from the tendency for girls often use the word "similar" in the style of the valley girls in LA
Over a period of three years in the band independently released three EPs (I Like The Like ...
