Word Up! were a hardcore band from Byron Bay, Australia.
They released a Demo in 2007 and another demo entitled Holy Moley in 2008. Their debut EP, Chillmatic, was released in 2009 and was soon followed up by their debut full length, Cabin Fever, in December 2010.
On the back of these releases they played shows with Comeback Kid, Break Even and Carpathian and toured nationally with Parkway Drive, 50 Lions, Trapped Under Ice, Cruel Hand, Confession and Skyway.
They announced their break up in February 2011 and played their final show in Byron Bay with 50 Lions, The Dead Ends and Spray on April 16th. |
