78Violet (previously known as Aly & AJ) are a pop/rock duo consisting of sisters Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka. They were born in Torrance, California, but spent part of their childhood in Seattle, Washington. They are both actresses, singer-songwriters, guitarists and pianists. They are expecting to release a new album with a more mature sound later this year. The first single from said record, Hothouse, will be released July 8th, 2013. A music video, self-produced by the duo in January of 2013, will also be released on that day. |
