Adam’s songs have been featured on GREY’S ANATOMY, KYLE XY, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, GREEK, BONES, REAPER, NEWPORT HARBOR, and in the film THE HAUNTING HOUR. Adam is the keyboardist for the Los Angeles rock band, The 88. He produced, mixed, and engineered the band’s debut CD, KIND OF LIGHT, which won them an LA WEEKLY award for “Best Pop/Rock Band.” KIND OF LIGHT was also featured as RADIO AND RECORDS “Album of the Week.” The 88 became a staple on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, a clearinghouse for rising indie rock outfits. The band released their second album entitled OVER AND OVER in September 2005 and have been playing practically nonstop with tour dates throughout the United States and Canada including opening slots with Smashing Pumpkins, Guster, Flaming Lips, and more. Today the group’s TV resume includes segments on THE JIMMY KIMMEL SHOW, THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON, LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY, MTV NEWS, EXTRA, and appeared as themselves in a performance on the sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. The 88’s ongoing red-hot music licensing streak has netted over 40 music placements in film, television and advertising since their debut release in 2003. This has included films, YOU ME AND DUPREE and FAILURE TO LAUNCH, and popular television shows such as THE OC, GREY’S ANATOMY, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, ONE TREE HILL, LAGUNA BEACH, and more. Adam plans to continue playing with The 88 as well as recording new material for his solo project. |
