A rock/pop band from Madrid, Spain leaded by Alaska, Nacho Canut and Carlos Berlanga, former members of two previous and succesful spanish bands: Kaka De Luxe and Alaska y los Pegamoides. They recorded their first album, “Canciones profanas” in 1983, under the name of Dinarama + Alaska. The subsequent year, under pressure of their record label, they changed their name to Alaska y Dinarama, becoming one of Spain’s huge record selling acts during the mid eighties. In 1989, Carlos Berlanga left the band to went solo, and Alaska along with Canut formed and electropop duo called Fangoria, which remains popular till date. |
