Amber Calling started out life in 2005 as ‘919’; and recently made the transition to the new name. The band has shared the stage with some of the country’s biggest acts such as Something With Numbers and Grinspoon. They band played the local stage at Taste of Chaos with Aiden, Rise Against and The Used in 2007 and has appeared on Fuel TV as well as being featured on the Myspace Homepage.
‘This Cell’ the lead track from their Road Rage EP has been featured on a range of national and international compilation CD’s including Starving Kid Records, Scratch Records and Perisher Blue.|2008 is set to be an enormous year for Amber Calling with their new EP - ‘The Truth About Lies’ scheduled for national release in April.
