1. Amy Lee (Amy Lynn Lee Hartzler, born December 13, 1981 in Riverside, CA) is an American singer-songwriter and classically-trained pianist. She is the lead vocalist of Evanescence, the Grammy award-winning band she co-founded with guitarist Ben Moody in 1995. Born to John Lee and Sara Cargil, she has a brother named Robbie and two sisters, Carrie and Lori. She had a third sister, who died in 1987 from an unidentified illness. Several songs by Evanescence are said to be about Amy’s late sister, including Hello, from their album Fallen, and Like You from their album The Open Door. Amy dresses in a recognizable ‘neo-goth’ style, with her use of gothic makeup and Victorian-style clothing. In concerts, she often wears corsets and fishnets. She also used to have a noticeable eyebrow piercing that is visible on the cover of Fallen. On May 6, 2007, she married her long-time friend, Josh Hartzler, a therapist. She revealed in an interview once that she had written the songs Good Enough and Bring Me To Life about him. wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amy_Lee * * *|2. Amy Lee is a saxophone player.
