Amy Vee is an award winning musician based in Newcastle Australia.
In 2007 she released the critically acclaimed album Archetype with her band The Virtues, which was followed by tours with The Whitlams, Little Birdy, and many more. The band enjoyed airplay as a featured artist on NOVAFM in Sydney and Melbourne and picked up several music industry gongs, including MUSICOZ Artist of the Year (2005) and even a nomination for an LA Music Award (2007).
In 2009 Amy returns to her roots as a solo artist. After showcasing new tunes at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, she is currently in the studio with producer Gareth Hudson. A new release is anticipated for July 2009. |
