Winner of the academy award for “Best Song,” A.R. Rahman teamed up with the Pussycat Dolls to create this remix that is completely in English, “Jai Ho! (You are my Destiny)” in 2009. The song was originally featured in Slumdog Millionaire, the 2008 winner of the “Best Picture” oscar. The original lyrics are mostly in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi interspersed with some Spanish lyrics.
