Arsdiona is an aspiring musician hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia. She sings, plays keyboards and writes songs—in what little time she can spare from her full-time job as a graphic designer at an advertising agency.
Currently, she’s part of a startup indie collective called RHYTHM DEFINE, a group of friends—both old and new—who share a passion for music and a strong DIY spirit, determined to be “the little indie label that could”. While still holding day jobs in fields as varied as web programming, design, and tech consultancy, they spend their weekends diligently writing, practising, and recording their own material.
Recently, Diona contributed to They Just Howl, a fan-initiated cover album celebrating the 1-year-anniversary of the release of HOWL, the full-length debut from Chicago-based rock quintet Empires. As a big fan of the band, Diona was thrilled to participate and enlisted the help of her friends on the song “Late Night Rendezvous”, and recorded a cover of “Hold On” (and Empires B-side) on her own as a bonus track. |
