Kafani “The Ice King” and Kashmere “Kash” of the Babyface Assassins have planted themselves in Californias rap scene on their own, starting from the ground up. Growing up in East Oakland this duo built a thirteen year long friendship that eventually developed into the business relationship they have now. Babyface Assassins describe their music as bold and exotic with a splash of hyphy. This duo has collaborated with some of Californias foremost musical heavyweights such as; Too $short, Yukmouth, Choppa, Freeway, more recently Keak Da Sneak, and many more. Kafani is now working on a solo mixtape called “Money’s my Motivation”. The Mixtape features many artists and currently has a single spinning in rotation in bay area radio stations. The first song entitled “Fassst” featuring Keak Da Sneak, is a club hit that gives listeners a chance to hear the level this mixtape is on.
