We decided to set up this DJ team to have fun and share with salsa dancers over the world our love of music. That’s why our concept is to offer a “show” by acting as a “pair” because we think it’s more fun for the dancers…and for us! Hubert|Born during the salsa gorda boom, he falls in love with this music only 30 years later. From Caribbean origin, he has been used to hear Afro-Caribbean rhythms like zouk, compas, reggae and of course, salsa. By the way, in his early years, he was not a big fan of salsa. During the year 2000, thanks to his girlfriend, he rediscovers this music through the dance experience. In the same time, music takes more and more importance. The real click happened in Puerto Rico during the world salsa congress. Back in France, he started to play music in clubs as a DJ. The meeting with Hervé emerged on the creation of the Black & White Brothers team. Hervé|Hervé has been in contact with latin music and salsa since he was born. His father, as a record producer and friend of many musicians, allowed him to discover this music from the inside by being close to people such as Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Mario Rivera during recording sessions, concerts or simply spending time with them on vacation. Before leaving Switzerland for France, Hervé was already a DJ, during the early years of house music. It’s only after a few years in Paris that Hervé started to dance, thanks to Valérie Mitchelson and Cliford Jasmin. It allowed him to discover the link that exists between this music and the dance. Since then, Hervé also set up a few events. He was the master of ceremonies for the 2 first editions of the world salsa congress in Paris. In the past 2 years, he also organized concerts bringing Eddie Palmieri, El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico and Papo Lucca & La Sonora Ponceña to Switzerland. The meeting with Hubert emerged on the creation of the Black & White Brothers team. |for more details pls chk http://latinmusic.free.fr thank you |
