It all began in the year 1998 in a small Swedish town called Hultsfred. Ella was 14 and bored of football and idiot teenage crushes. So what was she to do? She started listening to pop music of course. Two years earlier she had started to play the guitar and now she wanted to be in a band. All the older guys looked really cool and and got all the cool girls. Ella wanted to be that cool too and also get some chicks to hang out with.
Now many years later Ella has played in several groups and has written a lot of songs. She was in the band Alien She for a few years. Since 2002 Ella lives in Malmö and has recorded music alone at home under the aliases Kangasmukko, Ella Glockenspiel and now Bobby Baby.
Bobby Baby has shared her music on her website since June 2005, has been released by the mp3 net labels Corpid and Dive Records. People have asked why she’s sharing the music for free on the internet. The answer is simply that Bobby Baby wants as many people as possible to get to know her, and internet gives her that opportunity. We’re all winners!
In August 2005 Bobby Baby and Lucky Misu started the Do What You Doo! studio, where she records all her music.| |
