Caedmon website: www.caedmonsreturn.com features band history and news about the album. Caedmon were always an Edinburgh-based Acid/Psychedelic folk band, remembered for their cult eponymous album from 1978. Only 500 copies of the original vinyl album were made, making them very collectable (over £1000 on eBay). A cd version was released in 1994 by Kissing Spell, followed by a ‘Caedmon Live’ album. Caedmon’s self written music blends different styles of folk, fragile female vocals, an admirable use of tension and atmosphere, savage fuzz-guitar, cello, and art-rock leanings.
