The Capkonamco project has started on summer’07. Two russian musicians united by their love to NES games, keygen music and pixel art decided to start some kind of band/dj duet. Actually the title “Capkonamco” was created 2 weeks before first gig just to get some title written on flyers. The word “Capkonamco” is a combination of CAPcom + KONAmi + naMCO - one of the most respected game development companies. While creating music this duet uses everything that gets in their hands - from lsdj, trackers and vst plugins to sampled street noises and their own homemade acapellas.
