Cherry Overdrive is a hard working, upcoming Copenhagen based all-female rocking combo. Cherry Overdrive deliver straight-up garage with a 60’s twist and psyche stoner rock to boot with a tight, authentic, overwhelming live act you don’t want to miss.|Cherry Overdrive released their debut album (Clear Light, Heptown Records) in 2007 and it was received with all-round press and media recognition. They had four radio singles making it onto rotation in Denmark, Germany and France. Helping out with the record were several well known r’n’r names such as Lorenzo Woodrose, Ralph Rjelly and Jon Terje Østberg. Cherry Overdrive is one of Denmark’s busiest band touring abroad, averaging round 5 tours a year. Their main successes have|been in Germany and Spain. Cherry Overdrive have plans for tours in Spain, Benelux, Germany and UK this upcoming spring (2009).|Cherry Overdrive will also be featured in the world-wide MTV TV series Dirty Sanchez and have signed a deal for six tracks on|the show.|Cherry Overdrive is spending time in the studio during the winter and spring to record new material for their second album due in september 2009. A single from that material will be released in january 2009.| |
