1) An American Power-Pop Band|2) a Slovakian rock band|3) a Japanese duo 1) Cliché is a rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The original name was Monsters on Maple Street, which some suggest is a play on The Twilight Zone episode The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street, while others claim it stems from a childhood rivalry between founding members Addison and Marshall Born and children living on a nearby street. The band formed in 2005 for a high school music festival. With critical acclaim from their peers, they continued playing shows in the midwest area. Cliché has released one EP in 2008 titled Florodora.|Currently, Cliché consists of Addison Born on vocals and lead guitar, Marshall Born on drums, and Max Rickel on keyboard. 2) Cliche is a rock band (although they’ve also described themselves as arrogant pop) from Slovakia. You can find their beginning somewhere in year 1999 but stop trying to search …they’ve recorded three albums (Do kazdej domacnosti, Elpicko, 17 gramov), the first being recorded when singer reached his 17th year and finally started to take soft drugs…second album Elpicko (or LP in English) was recorded in 2005 and produced by Tomas Sloboda, a singer from a band called Le Payaco…third record was produced again by Tomas Sloboda and Marek Rakovicky, singer in a new band called Lavagance. Cliche are trying to play their music and show the real rock sound… Their message to all of you: “Who cares where we played the 250 concerts…give me some reason to come to your country and I’ll show ya…” 3) Cliche is a music duo from Japan described by themselves as Ambient/Acid brazil/Electronic/Euro jazz/Downtempo/Lounge. The group is Masato Hiraide (lyrics, composition, arrangement, instrument) & Yanagida (lyrics, composition, vocal, vocal arrangement)|But although Cliche is primarily a duo they are seeking for collaborations with avant-garde pops every time!!!|They have 4 albums released, Haze 2002, An optimist 2004, Indulge in a dream 2008 & Nocturne 2008|http://www.digi-cliche.com/ |
