Cold Crash is a band from Steinfort,Luxembourg, one of the smaller countries in Europe. The band exists since 2006 and has already live through several name changes and also personal changes. Learn more about them in their biography.
|In Summer 2006, Andy and Luc came together to play cover songs without any intention of founding this band. By October 2006, José joined their sessions as their bassist. After trying out different singers, Jeff joined the band which took the name “High Tension”. Andy and Jeff came up with their first own song called “Katastrophe”. Actually the song pretty much describes the current political and economical situation on our planet, which is a pretty strange fact at it was written in 2007.|Two months later, in June 2007, High Tension performed live on stage for the first time. During the next months, they came up with ideas for several new songs.|In the meanwhile, the band name was changed to “T!Time”. The first Concert at the Plain Vanilla,Lux was also Jeff’s last one. After their split-up, T!Time played several gigs in the next months without any additional member.|On the 20th december 2008, Ben helped them out for the first time on the drums, as Luc couldn’t perform the whole concert at the Excell due to a upper arm injury. A few days after that event, Ben joined the band for good as the new guitarist.|As they were now complete once again, and as their first recording was coming up, they decided to change their direction. While their first songs were German songs, they now decided to sing in English. Even though the band had been existing for more than two years, they decided to change the name once again into “Cold Crash” to point out to the latest structural changes. |
