Cory Gunz is a rapper, the son of rapper Peter Gunz. He is currently signed to Militia/Young Money Entertainment. He is a native of the Bronx. He was first signed to Tommy Mottola at Universal/Motown.
More recently, Jay-Z shepherded him into a joint venture through Island Def Jam Music Group. He was featured on a remix of Rihanna’s “If It’s Lovin’ That You Want”. Cory Gunz The Apprentice 3 - Season Finale has amassed over 55,000 listens on the mixtape website Datpiff. He also contributed a verse to the original version of Lil Wayne’s A Milli before it was replaced with new verses by Wayne for the album version.
Gunz has also worked with actor and musician Nick Cannon. Lil Wayne recently said that Cory is the next member of his label Young Money. |
