DECENCE, derived from the france word “DÉCENCE” and the english word “DECENCY”, signifies so much like ” distinguished restraint “. This concept is reflected in the music again: A warm voice submits with the machines which are woken in harmonious way to life -to a synthetic-lively unity. In the lyrics emotions are reflected, everybody probably lived through. Thus a “decent” mix arises from melancholy, hope and certain “factors of club atmosphere”, that states the sound and the principle of DECENCE . Decence gets on as an electronic-synthetic fusion of different (musical) elements, besides, not agreedly separate steadily developing and, nevertheless, of a steady melancholy obliges. Probably to all known emotions should be reflected and be called with the name, the listeners are animated by the process of the identification to the reflection.
Timetable:
-In the year 2002: Decence signed the Labeldeal with Excentric-records
- Jul. 2003: Decence reached the bullets of the DAC with the song “GENESIS”
-Okt. 2003: Decence’s first album “The first step” was released
- During 2003 and 2004: many live-shows all over Germany
-Feb. 2005: The seond album “constellation_gemini” was released
-April to May 2005: The song “There must be more” entered the DAC-charts
-May 2005: Support for “The crüxshadows” on the “shadowbox tour”
-Today: Working on new outputs, new projects and a new DECENCE-album
