There are at least two artist with this name: 1) Deda (born Nick Dida in Mount Vernon, New York) is a African American rapper who was closely associated with legendary rapper and hip-hop producer, Pete Rock during the 90s. In 1992, he made his debut on Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s Mecca and the Soul Brother (on the song “The Basement”), and again appeared on “In the Flesh”, from 1994’s The Main Ingredient. He recorded The Original Baby Pa in 1995, which was shelved and eventually released on a two-disc compilation album, Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics in 2003 on BBE (Barely Breaking Even). 2) Deda (sometimes spell as Deduhh) is Montenegrin rapper, part of hip-hop duo Who See, based in Kotor. |
