Detonautas Roque Clube is a brazilian rock band composed by Tico Santa Cruz (vocals), Renato Rocha (guitar), Tchello (bass), Fábio Brasil (drums) and Cleston (DJ and percussion). Band had joined into Internet chatting on the Rio. Their first record, called Detonautas Roque Clube (2002) were a hit into radios and MTV, doing hits like “Outro Lugar”, “Olhos Certos” and “Quando o Sol se For”, which granted a MTV Video Music Brasil award for Best New Artist/Band. Then it followed Roque Marciano (2004), and its first single, “O Dia que Não Terminou” followed a controversial video showing real footage of car accidents and rescue people helping injured people by car accidents. Singles like “Tênis Roque” and “O Amanhã” went pretty popular. Their third album was Psicodeliaamorsexo & Distorção (2005), with hits like “Não Reclame Mais” and “Dia Comum”. While the band were doing shows, Rodrigo Netto was killed by reacting a robbery of his car in Rio de Janeiro. By now there is no such replacement of him. |
