In 2005, Devin was a contestant on the hit TV series, American Idol Season 5. He auditioned in Chicago, IL and was the youngest contestant to make it to Hollywood, and finally made it to the TOP 80 contestants out of 100,000 people. Devin was cut in the group rounds of the TV show. Since then Devin has opened up for artists such as T-Pain, Yung Joc, Sammie, Ruben Studdard, Pretty Ricky, Field Mob, Dj Unk, Baby D, Crime Mob, Bentley Fonzworth, Bo Hagen, and many more. He now lives his life performing, writing, producing, and trying to become the musician God has given him the potential to be. Devin was signed to Universal Motown Records, home of: Akon, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Melonie Fiona, Young Money, David Banner, Busta Rhymes, Ron Browz, and more. He is also the writer/co-producer of the song “BiPolar” by Day26 which was featured on their most recent album, Forever In A Day. Devin continues working with other artists on their upcoming projects as well. While attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, a few years later, he went to work on his debut album. |
