Direct Hit is a pop punk band made up of members living in Milwaukee, Wis. and Chicago, Ill. that worship Andrew WK, The Ramones, and The Thermals in equal measure. Starting in 2008, they released a series of EPs for free online at their bandcamp, called DH#1, DH#2, DH#3, DH#4, and DH#5, from which a full-length album called DOMESPLITTER was compiled in 2011. Direct Hit!’s second full length, Brainless God, was released in September 2013.|In addition, Direct Hit has contributed songs to split 7” records with Mixtapes ( November 2010), Tit Patrol ( March 2011), and Jetty Boys (November 2011), The Haverchucks (October 2012), and Braver (October 2012) and a split 12” with Hold Tight! (March 2012). |
