Dragon Ball Z is a popular Japanese anime, which originally aired from 1989 to 1996. It was dubbed in different languages across the world, the most popular version being the American dub, which aired from 1996 to 2003. It is the sequel to the original Dragon Ball, and was succeeded by Dragon Ball GT.
