1) Dreamline (UK) are a talented duo producing fresh Euro Dance and UK Hardcore. Dreamline is the brainchild of producers Tim Gosden (Reflex) and Simon Robinson (Simon Royale).|They brought Dreamline together in early 2008 and have been co-producing songs together to date.|Recently signing two songs to Aftershock Records the future is looking bright for these two young producers, aged at only 17 the talent that is shown from the pair is unreal.|_______________|2) DREAMLINE (US) has created a maelstrom of musical ideas, and fashioned those ideas into an impressive aural assault. Instrumentals such as “Egyptian Nightmare” and “Driven” expose the dissonance, edge, and virtuosity of the musicians. Think King Crimson meets Porcupine Tree, meets Hendrix, via Satriani, and you’ll get a good idea of what the experience is like. Dreamline has been cited for being an ecelectic, electric power trio that blends progressive instrumental rock into their own unique jam of sound. Being together for only a little more than two years, the band has performed in clubs and festivals throghout New England. Chris Dembro: Lead guitars, keys Master, perfectionist, artist. These are just a few of the words one can use to describe the figure standing stage left, behind a keyboard rack, guitar blazing at a Dreamline show. Chris Dembro began the study of classical guitar at the early age of 11. Throughout his high school years Chris continued his study of classical music, performed with an orchestra, a jazz ensemble, and was even awarded the Arbella Music Scholarship. Chris attended the University of Massachusetts and graduated with a BA Degree in Music. Putting his education to use, Chris created the band Eccentricity and over the course of 10 years contributed to the creation of over 40 scores of music. He has composed music for independent films, an electronica project Norova, and has performed all over the east coast from Florida to Vermont. Chris is now the main creative force of Dreamline. His complex guitar, beautiful piano and string compositions, and near genius-like mind are the heart and soul of the power trio. Not only does he write and perform with the group, he also “runs the show” handling everything from recording to management. Chris dominates the senses live playing guitar and keyboards at the same time all while keeping everything under control. Be sure to catch the newest musical mastery from Chris this fall on his mind-blowing creation Slave Planet.| |Paul Davidson: Bass guitars, programming|Since the age of 13 Paul Davidson has been thumping bass lines to every medium from rock to jazz to techno. His creative arrangements and exploration with sound solidify the core of Dreamline’s music. An educated player, Paul relates theory to the construction of his technical and melodic bass riffs. Paul seeks perfection and whether in the studio, on the stage, or on the road he gives 110% at all times. Paul has spent years refining his sound and stage performance, reaching new heights with Dreamline. “If you’re feeling it, your audience will too and vise versa” quotes Paul. One has to only watch him in action on the stage to relate to Paul’s belief about the transmission of energy from performer to audience. Always pushing to play outside the standard, Paul hopes to become the master of his craft, welcoming the world of music past and present, and is always willing to give what he has learned to anyone he comes in contact with who travels the road not yet paved.| |John Spinney: Drums|Elevating the rhythm section of Dreamline to never before seen levels, percussive powerhouse John Spinney has formed the rock solid foundation the trio utilizes to invent, reform, and refine modern music. Barely seen behind his kit center stage, John is most certainly heard and is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the drums due in part to his unique use of cymbals and his brutally powerful yet tasteful range of motion around the set. Watching him perform any of Dreamline’s elaborate compositions is truly a treat for all by offering a stunning visual, musical, and powerful performance that is sure to impress, move, and inspire. 100% self educated John began drumming around the age of 6 and quickly developed a great appreciation for all things drum. After growing frustrated with the local scene in the late 90’s John gave up drumming until he witnessed legendary drummer Neil Peart perform his Der Trommler solo on the Rush 30th Anniversary Tour. John was so inspired by Neil’s performance that he set out to re-invent his style of playing and after a year of oiling the machine, he found the refreshing, unique instrumentation of Dreamline. Now confident, and motivated …John is playing at full throttle, amazing all who see his sticks fly. |
