Feryal Oney was born in a Middle|Anatolian town called Aksehir in|Turkey. In 1987, she came to|Istanbul, to Bosphorus University for|her education. There, she participated|in the musical works of the Folklore|Club. In 1993, she took part as a|founder in the formation of Kardes|Türküler Project, and since that time|she performed in countless concerts|and appeared in six albums as a band member and lead singer. In 1996,|she recorded her first solo album “Hardasan-Songs from Azerbaijan” with|musicians from Azerbaijan.
