Gold Motel is the Chicago-based solo project of singer-songwriter Greta Salpeter, formerly of The Hush Sound who are currently on a hiatus to pursue separate musical endeavors. The band consists of Salpeter (vocals, songs, piano/organ/keyboards), Eric Hehr (guitar), Dan Duszynski (guitar, vocals), Matt Minx (bass), Adam Kaltenhauser (drums). Their self-titled “Gold Motel EP” was released on December 15, 2009 followed by their full-length debut album “Summer House,” which was released on June 1, 2010. Gold Motel is currently unsigned.
