Harakiri is a death metal band from Indianapolis. Formed around 1997, their first album, “Reverence for madness”, was released on Skeptic Production after putting out some demos. Then they released an EP, “Virtuous symptoms”, on Cyberdine 243 records before signing to Willowtip Records and record and release “Twilight of the idols” in 2002. They started to tour with Kalibas and Commit Suicide but some “band related trouble” made them go on hiatus for a while. They reformed recently and are writing new songs for a new album.
Harakiri is also the name of an all girl punk band from Singapore who formed in 1998. |
