1) an indie rock band formed in Manchester, England, but originally from Cornwall when they were called Blew. They were discovered by former The Smiths’ guitarist Johnny Marr. Their debut album, Between The Senses, was released in February 2002. The band consisted of lead singer/guitar Gary Briggs, lead guitar Nat Watson, bass guitar Iwan Gronow and drums Jack Mitchell. Briggs & Watson have gone on to play with Peter Hook’s (ex-New Order) new band, Freebass (Briggs fronting the group). Strangely, Mitchell has also performed with an old New Order hand, frontman Bernard Sumner’s new band, Bad Lieutenant. Their debut featured his drumming. 2) a Finnish band, which plays beautiful piano and violin based music. They were second on ‘Ääni ja Vimma 2007’ -competition. 3) An American Christian Power Metal band that released 3 albums from 1990-1995. In 2002 an Anthology disc was released, and in 2004 the album, “The Age of Darkness” was rereleased with 6 bonus tracks. 4) A rock band from Borlänge, Sweden 5) A kid from Mass. who makes quite ridiculous music in his spare time, for the lulz of course. |
