Hey Rosetta! is a six member group from St. John’s, Newfoundland. The group was formed in 2005 by front man Tim Baker. The group consists of:

Hey Rosetta! released their self titled EP in the fall of 2005 and was on the top of the local charts. The EP also reached the top spot of the local campus radio’s (CHMR) album charts. With the success of the EP and their impressive live show Hey Rosetta! was awarded a MusicNL grant which allowed them to work on a debut full length album. The new album was released on June 1st at a release party at The Majestic, in St. John’s. The album is titled “Plan Your Escape” and is thirteen tracks long and clocks in at a total of of 65 minutes. The first album was then made into the “Plan Your Escape” EP and made available for wider distrubution. The EP had fewer songs and remixing work done to many of the tracks.
In June of 2008 Hey Rosetta! released their newest album “Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and on through your blood)”. The album was produced by Hawksley Workman and marks a shift in Hey Rosetta!’s sound. The album has received good reviews and Hey Rosetta! is touring to support the new release.
