Jæ is a Dutch artist, born in 1983, who lives mainly in Oslo, Norway now. Her music combines the experimental with the indie/folk-like. Playing and travelling around, often alone, living places temporarily, knowing hardly a soul in Reykjavik, Oslo or New York. One gets nest-like but one has to be creative about it. Be it only in the mind. Hanging over the microphone of your laptop.
November 2008 will see the release of Jæ’s first EP entitled ‘The forming of the shaping’, featuring songs she made some years ago on her laptop. Also the Norwegian label Rune Grammofon will release her track ‘Daniël’ on their jubileum release of a double-cd + art-book, to be released ?, one of these days.| |
